Addressable by design
Every region of every view carries a two-letter, two-digit reference. Over a radio, "check DK-07" is unambiguous. That is the whole feature and it took a year to get right.

Built for bright light
Olive drab with a survey blue that could not occur in a landscape. The contrast ratios hold on a cracked screen in direct sun, which is where this is actually used.

Stepped, not smooth
Forecasts are drawn as steps because the models output steps. A smooth line implies a precision nobody has and encourages decisions the data cannot support.
