Loans are made between institutions. The borrowing institution's registrar must countersign before material leaves the building.

Undertakings Material will be kept in a locked cabinet at 18 °C or below and 45–55% relative humidity. No annotation will be made on original labels; determinations will be added on separate slips. No destructive sampling will be undertaken on any sheet in this request. Material will be returned within twelve months or a renewal requested in writing.
